Across these songs, many types of style and song structures can be heard. Songs without drums, songs centered around acoustic guitar, mostly electronic songs with no guitar, wandering and repetitive melodies, songs built around the string sections. In addition to new sounds, many of the drum machines, organs, keyboards and tones that listeners may associate with previous Beach House records remain present throughout many of the compositions. The writing and recording of Once Twice Melody began in 2018 and was completed in July of 2021. Most of the songs were created during this time, though a few date back over the previous 10 years. Most of the recording was done at Apple Orchard Studio in Baltimore. Once Twice Melody was mixed largely by Alan Moulder but a few tracks were also mixed by Caesar Edmunds, Trevor Spencer, and Dave Fridmann.

Tracks:
1.1 Once Twice Melody
1.2 Superstar
1.3 Pink Funeral
1.4 Through Me
1.5 Runaway
1.6 Esp
1.7 New Romance
1.8 Over and Over
2.1 Sunset
2.2 Only You Know
2.3 Another Go Around
2.4 Masquerade
2.5 Illusion of Forever
2.6 Finale
2.7 The Bells
2.8 Hurts to Love
2.9 Many Nights
2.10 Modern Love Stories
Title: Thank Your Lucky Stars
Artist: Beach House
Label: Sub Pop
Product Type: VINYL LP
UPC: 098787114218
Genre: Rock
Release Date: 2015-10-16
Number of Discs: 1
Additional Details: GATEFOLD LP JACKET, MP3 DOWNLOAD

Vinyl LP pressing in a tip-on gatefold jacket with custom dust sleeve, includes digital download. This 2017 compilation contains every song Beach House - AKA Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand - has made that does not exist on one of their albums. The band explains: When we announced that we were releasing a B-sides and rarities album, someone on Twitter asked, "B-sides record? Why would Beach House put out a B-sides record? Their A-sides are like B-sides." This random person has a point. Our goal has never been to make music that is explicitly commercial. Over the years, as we have worked on our six LPs, it wasn't the "best" or most catchy songs that made the records, just the ones that fit together to make a cohesive work. Accordingly, our B-sides are not songs that we didn't like as much, just ones that didn't have a place on the records we were making.

Tracks:
1.1 Chariot
1.2 Baby
1.3 Equal Mind
1.4 Used to Be (2008 Single Version)
1.5 White Moon (Itunes Session Remix)
1.6 Baseball Diamond
1.7 Norway (Itunes Session Remix)
2.1 Play the Game
2.2 The Arrangement
2.3 Saturn Song
2.4 Rain in Numbers
2.5 I Do Not Care for the Winter Sun
2.6 10 Mile Stereo (Cough Syrup Remix)
2.7 Wherever You Go
Title: Teen Dream
Artist: Beach House
Label: Sub Pop
Product Type: CASSETTES
UPC: 098787084542
Genre: Rock
Release Date: 2017-06-30
Number of Discs: 1

Recorded in upstate New York, in a converted church called Dreamland with producer/engineer Chris Coady (who has worked with TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blonde Redhead, and a bunch of others) Teen Dream is the third album from the Baltimore-based duo Beach House, and their Sub Pop debut. We have now written and released a total of 77 songs together. Throughout the process of recording 7, our goal was rebirth and rejuvenation. We wanted to rethink old methods and shed some self-imposed limitations. In the past, we often limited our writing to parts that we could perform live. On 7, we decided to follow whatever came naturally. As a result, there are some songs with no guitar, and some without keyboard. There are songs with layers and production that we could never recreate live, and that is exciting to us. Basically, we let our creative moods, instead of instrumentation, dictate the album's feel. For 7, we built a home studio, and began all of the songs there. Whenever we had a group of 3-4 songs that we were excited about, we would go to a "proper" recording studio and finish recording them there, in the process shortening the amount of time between the original idea and the finished song. 7 didn't have a producer in the traditional sense. James Barone, who became our live drummer in 2016, played on the entire record. We also worked with Sonic Boom (Peter Kember), who became a great force on this record by shedding conventions and helping to keep the songs alive, fresh and protected from the destructive forces of recording-studio over-production/over-perfection."

Tracks:
1.1 Dark Spring
1.2 Pay No Mind
1.3 Lemon Glow
1.4 L'inconnue
1.5 Drunk in la
1.6 Dive
2.1 Black Car
2.2 Lose Your Smile
2.3 Woo
2.4 Girl of the Year
2.5 Last Ride
Title: Depression Cherry
Artist: Beach House
Label: Sub Pop
Product Type: VINYL LP
UPC: 098787112214
Genre: Rock
Release Date: 2015-08-28
Number of Discs: 1
Additional Details: DIGITAL DOWNLOAD CARD

Vinyl LP pressing. Beach House is Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally. Depression Cherry is their fifth full-length record. This record follows the release of their self-titled album in 2006, Devotion in 2008, Teen Dream in 2010 and Bloom in 2012. Depression Cherry was recorded at Studio in the Country in Bogalusa, Louisiana from November2014 through January '15. According to the band, the album is a return to the simpler style of dream pop from their first two albums. "In general, this record shows a return to simplicity, with songs structured around a melody and a few instruments, with live drums playing a far lesser role. With the growing success of Teen Dream and Bloom, the larger stages and bigger rooms naturally drove us towards a louder, more aggressive place; a place farther from our natural tendencies. Here, we continue to let ourselves evolve while fully ignoring the commercial context in which we exist."

Tracks:
1.1 Levitation
1.2 Sparks
1.3 Space Song
1.4 Beyond Love
2.1 10:37
2.2 PPP
2.3 Wildflower
2.4 Bluebird
2.5 Days of Candy
Title: Thank Your Lucky Stars
Artist: Beach House
Label: Sub Pop
Product Type: CASSETTES
UPC: 098787114249
Genre: Rock
Release Date: 2016-01-29
Number of Discs: 1

Tracks:
1.1 Majorette
1.2 She's So Lovely
1.3 All Your Yeahs
1.4 One Thing
1.5 Common Girl
1.6 The Traveller
1.7 Elegy to the Void
1.8 Rough Song
1.9 Somewhere Tonight
Title: Depression Cherry
Artist: Beach House
Label: Sub Pop
Product Type: COMPACT DISCS
UPC: 098787112221
Genre: Rock
Release Date: 2015-08-28
Number of Discs: 1

Beach House is Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally. It is a double album, featuring 18 songs presented in 4 chapters. Beach House is Victoria Legrand, lead singer and multi-instrumentalist, and Alex Scally, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. They write all of their songs together. Once Twice Melody is the first album produced entirely by the band. The live drums are by James Barone (same as their 2018 album, 7), and were recorded at Pachyderm studio in Minnesota and United Studio in Los Angeles. For the first time, a live string ensemble was used. Strings were arranged by David Campbell. The writing and recording of Once Twice Melody began in 2018 and was completed in July of 2021. Most of the songs were created during this time, though a few date back over the previous 10 years. Most of the recording was done at Apple Orchard Studio in Baltimore. Once Twice Melody was mixed largely by Alan Moulder but a few tracks were also mixed by Caesar Edmunds, Trevor Spencer, and Dave Fridmann.

Tracks:
1.1 Once Twice Melody
1.2 Superstar
1.3 Pink Funeral
1.4 Through Me
1.5 Runaway
1.6 Esp
1.7 New Romance
1.8 Over and Over
2.1 Sunset
2.2 Only You Know
2.3 Another Go Around
2.4 Masquerade
2.5 Illusion of Forever
2.6 Finale
2.7 The Bells
2.8 Hurts to Love
2.9 Many Nights
2.10 Modern Love Stories
Title: 7
Artist: Beach House
Label: Sub Pop
Product Type: COMPACT DISCS
UPC: 098787124026
Genre: Rock
Release Date: 2018-05-11
Number of Discs: 1

2018 release, the seventh full length album from dream pop band Beach House. "At it's release, we will have been a band for over 13 years.

1.6 Dive
1.7 Black Car
1.8 Lose Your Smile
1.9 Woo
1.10 Girl of the Year
1.11 Last Ride
Title: B-Sides And Rarities
Artist: Beach House
Label: Sub Pop
Product Type: COMPACT DISCS
UPC: 098787120523
Genre: Rock
Release Date: 2017-06-30
Number of Discs: 1

This 2017 compilation contains every song Beach House - AKA Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand - has made that does not exist on one of their albums. The band explains: When we announced that we were releasing a B-sides and rarities album, someone on Twitter asked, "B-sides record? Why would Beach House put out a B-sides record? The band explains: When we announced that we were releasing a B-sides and rarities album, someone on Twitter asked, "B-sides record? Why would Beach House put out a B-sides record? Their A-sides are like B-sides." This random person has a point. Our goal has never been to make music that is explicitly commercial. Over the years, as we have worked on our 6 LPs, it wasn't the "best" or most catchy songs that made the records, just the ones that fit together to make a cohesive work. Accordingly, our B-sides are not songs that we didn't like as much, just ones that didn't have a place on the records we were making. The oldest song is "Rain in Numbers" and was recorded in 2005, during the summer when we formed the band. We didn't have a piano, so we asked our friend if we could use his, which was pretty out of tune. We used the mic that was on the four-track machine to record the piano and vocals. It was originally the secret song on our self-titled debut. The next couple of songs are from late 2008. We were so excited about "Used to Be" that we quickly recorded it and put it on a 7" for our fall tour with the Baltimore Round Robin. The same session begat our cover of Queen's "Play the Game" for a charity compilation benefiting AIDS research; we will continue to donate all profits from the song to that charity. As fans of Queen, we thought it would be fun and ridiculous to try to adapt their high-powered pop song into our realm. These songs were recorded at the same studio where we made Devotion. There are a bunch of songs written and recorded in the 2009-2010 window. "Baby" was written and recorded in October 2009 with our friend Jason Quever. "10 Mile Stereo" was recorded during the Teen Dream session in July 2009. Since we used tape, we often slowed the tape way down to create effects while recording, which led to "10 Mile Stereo (Cough Syrup Remix)." "White Moon" and "The Arrangement" were both songs that we didn't believe fit on Teen Dream. "White Moon" originally appeared on our iTunes live session. Since that was recorded and mixed very hastily, we have remixed it to better match our current aesthetics. We have also remixed and included the version of "Norway" we did at that same session. We wrote and recorded "I Do Not Care for the Winter Sun" during a break between tours and released it on the internet for free, unmastered. Well, it's finally been mastered

Tracks:
1.1 Chariot
1.2 Baby
1.3 Equal Mind
1.4 Used to Be (2008 Single Version)
1.5 White Moon (Itunes Session Remix)
1.6 Baseball Diamond
1.7 Norway (Itunes Session Remix)
2.1 Play the Game
2.2 The Arrangement
2.3 Saturn Song
2.4 I Do Not Care for the Winter Sun
2.5 Rain in Numbers
2.6 10 Mile Stereo (Cough Syrup Remix)
2.7 Wherever You Go
Title: Thank Your Lucky Stars
Artist: Beach House
Label: Sub Pop
Product Type: COMPACT DISCS
UPC: 098787114225
Genre: Rock
Release Date: 2015-10-30
Number of Discs: 1

2015 release. Once Twice Melody is the eighth studio album by Beach House. It is a double album, featuring 18 songs presented in 4 chapters.

Title: Teen Dream
Artist: Beach House
Label: Pias
Product Type: VINYL LP
UPC: 602527297163
Genre: Rock
Release Date: 2013-11-05
Number of Discs: 1
Additional Details: UNITED KINGDOM - IMPORT

Import LP pressing. Recorded in upstate New York at Dreamland, a converted church, Teen Dream marks Beach House's third album and their debut for Sub Pop. Working with producer and engineer Chris Coady-known for his work with TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blonde Redhead, and many others-the Baltimore duo crafted a record that opens into a world of vivid imagination. The making of Teen Dream became a deeply absorbing and all-encompassing passion for the band, and that sense of devotion resonates throughout the album.

Tracks:
1.1 Zebra
1.2 Silver Soul
1.3 Norway
1.4 Walk in the Park
1.5 Used to Be
1.6 Lover of Mine
1.7 Better Times
1.8 10 Mile Stereo
1.9 Real Love
1.10 Take Care
